Our pets are a very important part of our lives, our best friends, and members of the family. Losing a pet is difficult, and oftentimes is accompanied with overwhelming grief. Whether you are dealing with a lost pet or the death of your pet, there are a roller coaster of emotions you experience. It is common to feel sad, hurt, angry, guilty, and lonely.

Your beloved friend is gone, and what remains are feelings of sadness and emptiness. While it is difficult to reach out in this lonely time, connecting with others who are experiencing similar losses aids in the healing process.

Not everyone understands just how special and strong the bond is between humans and animals. This support group is a place to gather with people who do understand. The group is dedicated to supporting one another through a difficult time in your life. Whether you want to come and share memories of your best friend, or just receive support, this group allows a safe, understanding, and caring environment for you to work through your painful grief.

Anyone who has experienced the loss of a pet, or is anticipating a loss, is invited to attend the Pet Loss Support Group.
